Herbie, Ollie, Speckles, Spock, Chase, and Sam were given a chance most shelter dogs only dream of.
In 2022-2023, these boys left our remote shelter in Umm Al Quwain, one-by-one, to join our boster program in Dubai. Thanks to individual sponsors, they each got to live in the comforts of air-conditioned boarding with lovely Monique at Bed and Biscuits. They got more attention, more care, and hope of finding a real home. Months turned into years, they waited. They met families. They went to adoption events. They showed up with wagging tails and trusting hearts.
But no one chose any of them.
Now, with over 1,500 dogs waiting for homes, we simply can’t keep the dogs no one wanted in the boster program any longer. We have no choice but to send them back and give a chance to someone else. Back to the hot and harsh conditions of the shelter. Back to the noise. Back to the loneliness. It truly breaks our hearts. We failed them.
Why has no one chosen them?
We ask ourselves every day. They’re good dogs. They’re adoptable. They’ve been let down — and now, it’s happening again.
Maybe they’re too old. Too ordinary. Not cute enough. Not small enough. Not good enough. Maybe the world just doesn’t look at dogs like them.
But we are begging you to look! Don't ignore them please.

The dogs who we failed and who's hearts we are now breaking all over again, unless someone offers one of them a home, even temporarily.

Speckles is a playful, high-energy boy with a gorgeous brindle coat and a sharp mind—perfect for an active home ready to keep him engaged and help him shine.

This is the moment everything changes — or endsWhen they go back to the shelter, they’ll lose more than comfort. They’ll lose visibility. They’ll lose stimulation. They’ll lose hope. Some dogs never recover from that kind of disappointment. Some shut down. Some stop eating. Some just… disappear inside themselves. We are begging you: Don’t let that happen to them. You are their last hope! You can still help them, but only if you act now. They only have days left.
