Bostering explained
Under our Boster Program, you can really help a dog on their journey to find a home. By sponsoring the cost of boarding, you give them a chance to move from our remote shelter in Umm al Quwain to Dubai, where they attend adoption events and meet potential and adopters.
From shelter to boarding
The Boster fee covers the dogs stay in a safe, airconditioned and comfy dog hotel (particularly important in the hot summer months), full care and 2 nutritious meals every day.
One step closer to a home
Bostered dogs get a chance to attend adoption events and meet families looking to adopt or foster. They also get to socialise with both dogs and people, learning skills to transition into a home.
Visit your boster dog
The boarding we partner with, Bed and Biscuits, is in Dubai (DIP2) meaning you can also visit your Boster dog (pre-booking required) and get a fix of doggy love, the best therapy in the world!
Most of our dogs who have been lucky to leave the shelter and go into Boster care have found foster or forever homes. Sadly though, we have more dogs than Bosters therefore we desperately need more Bosters to make sure the dogs are not returned to the shelter.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Send us DM on Facebook / Instagram or email us to express your interest. We often post dogs needing a Boster so you can choose a dog, or we can assign one for you.
2. Payment is made monthly via a secure payment link directly to the boarding facility.
3. You will receive a Boster Certificate with your Boster dog’s picture after the first payment.

If you really want to help you can co-boster with others for a smaller amount.
We understand that people may want to Boster but can’t stretch financially to the full Boster fee. We also have people co-bostering – covering together the boarding for the same dog. You can contribute with any amount. A certificate will be sent to anyone covering 500 aed of more.

While we appreciate every Boster’s contributions, we ask if you can commit to 3 months as a minimum to allow time for the dog to move into a home.
