Amid the conflict and changes in the UAE, Stray Dogs Center continues caring for more than 1,700 rescue dogs as new challenges put increasing pressure on the shelter and support from the community becomes more important than ever.

For almost 10 years, a small group of volunteers has been quietly supporting shelter dogs in Dubai through pre-loved book sales — and many people still don’t know this heartwarming initiative exists. Every book bought helps feed and care for dogs waiting for their forever homes. Visit their bi-weekly book sale at Times Square Center and discover how a simple book can bring hope to a dog in need.
