About the author – Dr. Amirah William
A New Zealander living in the UAE since 2009, Dr. Amirah William is an educator, animal welfare advocate, and founder of Stray Dogs Center — the UAE’s largest nonprofit rescue shelter. She leads a team that cares for over 1,400 rescued dogs, 15 cats, and 6 donkeys, dedicating her life to giving every animal a second chance.
