WELCOME TO STRAY DOGS CENTER
WHO WE ARE
The Stray Dogs Center (SDC) is a non-profit animal welfare organisation, founded in 2013. Our mission is to help abused, abandoned, neglected and forgotten stray animals in the UAE with a "no kill" policy. Our shelter holds over a thousand rescue dogs, a handful of wonky donkeys and 15 cats.

We are licenced by the Federal Authority, the Ministry Of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), and the Government of Umm Al Quwain.
WHAT WE DO
Rescue
We rescue dogs from every Emirate in the United Arab Emirates.

Rehabilitate
Most rescues are abused, abandoned, starved, ill or injured. They arrive at the center broken souls, sometimes on the brink of death, full of ticks, sick, aggressive, despondent. Thus begins the journey to rehabilitate. Helping overcome trauma can take from weeks to even years.

Rehome
Finding a home for every doggy in the shelter is the ultimate goal. There are always others waiting to be rescued, to take the place of the adopted ones.
