The Boster Program
Be a Boster,
Sponsor a dog's boarding stay

Our rescue dogs move from our remote & overcrowded shelter to a comfy dog hotel in Dubai, where they can attend adoption events and get a real chance of finding homes. Provided they have someone to cover their boarding.
Meet the dogs who need a Boster now
Each dog needs two sponsors to cover their full monthly boarding stay.
Can you be one of them? Without support they are at risk of having to move to the overcrowded shelter in Umm Al Quwain, far away from families looking to adopt.
What Is Bostering?
Can’t foster or adopt right now? You can still change a life.
By bostering, you sponsor a dog’s stay in a safe, air-conditioned boarding facility in Dubai.
Your support helps them leave the shelter, socialise, and attend adoption events — the critical step between rescue and a forever home.

Why It Matters
Quick emotional list:
-
🏠 Safe & Comfortable: Every AED 500 buys 2 weeks of boarding, meals, and care.
-
🐾 Socialisation: Dogs learn to trust, play, and bond with people.
-
💬 Visibility: Boarding in Dubai means they can join adoption events.
-
🌟 Hope: Most bostering dogs are adopted within a few months.
“We bosted Luna for two months — she found her forever home right after her third adoption event!” — Sarah, Boster since 2024
How Bostering works
1. Choose a Dog from one of the 10 dogs above.
2. Click “Boster” to pay AED 500 for half a month's care.
3. Receive a Certificate —we will email a nice certificate and hope you would share it on your socials so others might want to help too.
You can also book to visit your Boster dog at Bed & Biscuits, Dubai (DIP 2). It’s the best kind of therapy 🐕

The bigger impact
Every Boster sponsorship helps a dog stay in the place where adoptions happen — Dubai.
Your support keeps them safe and cared for in boarding, where they can attend events, meet families, and take confident steps toward their forever home.

Fostering helps SDC gather valuable information about the dog - how they are with kids, other dogs and cats, if they are toilet trained, leash trained and what their temperament is like. This info is invaluable when a potential adopter is looking for a suitable dog and the adoption team can match dogs and adopters more effectively.

Our family has fostered dog after dog for the past 8 years and we just love seeing an unsecure dog realize they are safe, and with time, come out of their shell. They are all such lovely individuals, we simply love being part of their journey to a happy life.

As foster parent, you need to be responsible: while fostering, the dog is just like your own pet and needs to be taken care by you; at the same time, that dog doesn’t belong to you, it belongs to their future family and that family deserves a pet that has been properly treated and cared for.
You can save a life
